My kids are everything to me. I am SOOOoo blessed by them every day. I am thankful to have work that I can weave into breaks here and there or during school, but being "mommy" is still my biggest and best job.
My son is the reason I started shooting professionally. I treasure the photos I first took of him. His big, blue eyes have always been filled with wonder. He is absolutely obsessed with numbers... his little mind amazes me. I often wonder what he'll be when he grows up. The other day he asked if he would live with me forever. I told him he'd probably get his own house someday and maybe get married. He responded by saying "But Mommy, you're the ONLY girl for me!" That made me melt.
My daughter is so beautiful in spirit. She finds her brother hilarious, laughing at his chatter. Soon she'll be fighting for "air-time". She's only an infant but already I can tell she's going to be such a people-person. Her smile is infectious. She is lovely. I know she will teach me so much about the world and myself. I can't wait to hear her dreams.
They are my constant inspiration. I hope my kids can someday see how much they've made my dreams come true.

I *love* this post!! Kinda puts everything else into perspective, doesn't it? I love my little people so much and feel so lucky everyday to be a photographer who can record all those little momenst!
